About Wealthbox

Wealthbox is the #1 rated CRM software for financial advisors and the fastest-growing platform in the market. We serve thousands of financial advisors with modern, AI-powered software that makes it easy to manage client relationships, streamline workflows, and collaborate with a team in a product people actually love to use.

The Role

We have a large (and growing!) base of customers who love using Wealthbox. We need someone to make sure they know it, use it fully, and tell everyone they know about it.

We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to own how we engage, educate, and grow our existing customer base. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, customer success, and product, and it’s focused on three things: making sure customers get the most out of Wealthbox, driving adoption of new products and features, and building the programs that turn happy customers into vocal advocates.

This is a builder role. None of these programs exist today. You’ll come in, assess the landscape, and create them from scratch, using AI and automation to operate at a scale that would normally require a team. We don’t want someone who’s going to produce a strategy deck and wait for approval. We want someone who’s going to ship programs, measure what works, and iterate fast.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build a customer-facing education program. This is the flagship project for this role.
  • Measure adoption and completion rates, tie academy engagement to product usage metrics, and iterate based on what’s driving real customer outcomes.
  • Own customer-focused events that deepen engagement and drive product adoption. This could include virtual customer roundtables, user group meetups, product workshops, and/or customer appreciation events.
  • Partner with our event marketing team on customer-facing components of our conferences and trade shows (customer meetups, VIP dinners, customer speakers)
  • Own the ongoing communication cadence with our customer base: product announcements, feature updates, best practices, tips and tricks, and general engagement.
  • Build and manage automated lifecycle campaigns that activate at key moments in the customer journey: onboarding completion, first 90 days, renewal approach, new feature releases, and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with product marketing to translate launches and feature releases into customer-facing communications that drive adoption, not just awareness.
  • Create a systematic process for capturing customer stories, not just ad hoc requests when sales needs a reference.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with meaningful depth in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or customer education.
  • Experience building programs from scratch. This isn’t a role where you inherit a playbook. You need to be comfortable creating structure where none exists.
  • Strong instincts for customer engagement. You understand what makes customers open an email, complete a course, attend an event, or agree to be a reference, and you know it’s different for different segments.
  • AI fluency. You use AI daily to produce content, build workflows, and move faster. You should be comfortable using Claude or similar tools to draft educational content, build email sequences, and automate repetitive processes. You don’t need to build agents, but you should be a power user who sees AI as essential to how you work.
  • Experience with customer education or academy programs is a strong plus. If you’ve built an LMS, designed a curriculum, or launched a certification program, we want to hear about it.
  • Strong writing skills. Customer communications require clarity, warmth, and precision. You should be able to write a product announcement, a tutorial script, and a case study with equal confidence.
  • Data-driven mindset. You should be comfortable measuring program performance and making decisions based on what the data tells you, not just what feels right.
  • Collaborative instincts. This role touches customer success, product, sales, and every other part of marketing. You need to work well across teams without needing formal authority.

What Sets You Apart

  • You’ve built a customer education program or academy and can show the impact it had on product adoption, retention, or NPS.
  • You’ve run customer event programs that produced a measurable pipeline of case studies, references, and reviews.
  • You’ve designed lifecycle campaigns that drove cross-sell or upsell revenue from an existing customer base.
  • You’ve used AI to build or scale customer-facing programs, and feel comfortable learning new technologies.
  • You have experience marketing to financial services professionals or adjacent regulated industries.
  • You think about customer marketing as a revenue function, not a feel-good function.

Work Schedule

  • Weekdays, during EST business hours

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health plan
  • 401k plan
