Sales Engineer

We’re seeking a Sales Engineer (SE) to support our growing sales organization. This individual contributor role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer engagement — translating complex capabilities into business value for prospective clients. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives and internal teams to drive strategic deals through technical discovery, tailored demos, and thoughtful documentation of customer requirements that ensure seamless handoffs to implementation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compelling, technically sound product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s business needs and workflows.
  • Support strategic sales cycles by clarifying technical capabilities, integration options, migration paths and security requirements.
  • Design and execute proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations to validate solutions and demonstrate measurable business impact.
  • Document customer requirements and collaborate with Implementation and Product teams to ensure post-sale success.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the buying process, translating complex product features into clear business outcomes.
  • Contribute to maintaining demo environments, scripts and assets to ensure consistent, high-impact presentations across the sales organization.
  • Demonstrate how Wealthbox integrates with partner solutions, APIs and data sources to fit within clients’ tech ecosystems.
  • Assist in RFPs, security questionnaires and technical diligence during enterprise evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Support to channel customer feedback, advocate for enhancements and help influence roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to enhance product fluency and demo excellence across the sales organization.
  • Maintain accurate demo notes, customer requirements and deal support documentation in CRM systems.
  • Represent Wealthbox at industry events, webinars and partner activities, showcasing our technology and customer value.

 

Desired skills and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales within a SaaS company.
  • Deep understanding of CRM platforms and SaaS ecosystems; experience in WealthTech or FinTech is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills — equally effective with technical teams and business executives.
  • Proven ability to craft and deliver tailored demos and PoCs that tell a compelling business-value story.
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and data migration processes.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

  • Weekdays, during business hours (fully remote)
  • Occasional travel to industry conferences
