Enterprise Sales Leader

Starburst Labs, Inc., is seeking a lead sales person with experience in the financial services/wealth management industry to promote its Wealthbox CRM software-as-a-service solution to broker-dealers and RIAs for use by their financial advisors. Qualified candidates will be able to lever their network of connections at the enterprise level of independent broker-dealers, RIAs, technology partners, and trade associations in the financial advisory space.


  • Prospect, identify and develop new opportunities at independent broker-dealers and RIAs by presenting the Wealthbox CRM solution to them for approved listing, promotion, and integration to their systems that support financial advisors.
  • Provide online and face-to-face demonstrations of Wealthbox CRM to enterprise-level decision-makers, technology partners, and end-user financial advisor firms. Such demos may be one-on-one, or via online webinars and trade conference presentations.
  • Understand basic product integration and new feature request requirements from broker-dealers and RIAs to convey to the product development team to tailor the Wealthbox SaaS offering.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales forecasts for Wealthbox CRM subscriptions.
  • Collaborate and share your ideas with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams for Wealthbox.
  • Provide guidance on the product integration and cross-promotion of Starburst Labs’s Wealthbase, an inbound marketing network for financial advisors that is in testing phase and will integrate with Wealthbox CRM when it launches.

Required Experience & Competencies

  • A strong understanding of the web-based tools and technologies that financial advisors use, and a knowledge of how independent broker-dealers and large RIAs service their financial advisors with these systems.
  • A proven, successful track record in enterprise software solution sales (CRM and/or SaaS experience preferred) in financial services.
  • Knowledge of broker-dealer and RIA organization structures and their technology assessment, implementation, promotion and training processes for new technology offerings.
  • Solid knowledge of modern cloud service offerings, toolsets, operating systems, and browsers. Wealthbox is not your father’s CRM; we’re looking for people who are current in their knowledge of modern productivity apps, as distinct from webified legacy systems.
  • Strong communication skills, especially via email, live chat, telephone and live web-conferencing combined with exceptional follow-up and organizational skills with attention to detail, including the use of our core CRM to sell CRM subscriptions. Work Schedule

  • This is a full-time position and it’s a fun job because advisors love using Wealthbox, and the team behind it is agile, creative, and have great track records in building SaaS apps.
  • Some travel to conference events is required.
  • Work onsite at our NYC office or remote.
