The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. You’ll partner with the Senior Manager of Accounting across all areas of accounting, including payables, receivables, expense management, month-end close, and the annual audit. We’re lean by design, so you’ll have the visibility and autonomy to refine how we run the day to day, use AI and our tech stack to make our existing processes faster and more scalable, and see how your work directly contributes to our success.

What You’ll Do

• Play a key role in the month-end close: prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and lead variance analysis on your accounts. Help the team move toward a faster, more continuous close and keep our books audit-ready.
• Manage accounts payable and credit card expenses, including reimbursements, T&E policy, and vendor payment controls that protect against fraud.
• Drive accounts receivable collections: catch failed or expiring payments early, work the aging, and keep DSO down while protecting customer relationships.
• Review monthly sales tax returns prepared by Anrok and support the annual audit and tax process.
• Get the most out of our stack (Rillet, Anrok, Stripe, Brex). Find the manual work, automate it with AI where you can, and bring us well-reasoned improvements rather than maintaining the status quo.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience; SaaS or high-growth technology company experience strongly preferred.
• Solid GAAP and month-end close fundamentals, with hands-on AP, AR, and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Self-starter with a knack for problem solving and real enthusiasm for using AI and automation to drive measurable efficiency gains in accounting workflows.
• Comfort on a lean team, wearing multiple hats and working cross-functionally with non-finance partners.
