VP of Marketing

Wealthbox is the #1 CRM software platform for financial advisors: rated #1 by the people who use it and #1 in market share. Tens of thousands of advisors and their teams run their day on it, and our largest enterprise firms rely on it as the intelligent hub for their entire practice. We’re a fast-growing team building the AI-powered software advisors actually want to use, and we’re looking for people who want to help.

The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own Wealthbox’s social media presence and the video content that fuels it. This person is the engine behind how Wealthbox shows up on LinkedIn, YouTube, and every channel where our audience consumes content.

You’ll write the scripts, produce and edit the video, and distribute the finished product across channels. You’ll work with subject matter experts across the company (product, marketing, sales, customer education) to turn their knowledge into polished, engaging content that financial advisors actually want to watch.

This role sits at the intersection of content marketing, social media, and video production. You’ll work closely with our Content Marketing Manager, our Director of Product Marketing, our Customer Marketing Manager, and our Head of Customer Education to turn messaging, product updates, customer stories, and educational content into a steady stream of video and social assets.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Wealthbox’s social media presence across LinkedIn and other relevant channels. Develop the content calendar, write posts, schedule content, and engage with the community.
  • Write video scripts from inputs provided by product marketing, customer marketing, and product teams. Turn complex product features and workflows into clear, compelling scripts that work for a financial advisor audience.
  • Produce and edit short-form video content: product teasers, how-to clips, feature announcements, customer spotlights, and social-first video. You should be comfortable in editing tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets. We do 150+ webinars a year. Each one should generate 3-5 pieces of social and video content. Build the system that makes this happen efficiently.
  • Manage the production workflow for video shoots. Coordinate schedules with on-screen talent, prepare scripts and talking points, ensure consistent quality across all video content.
  • Track and report on social and video performance. What’s getting engagement, what’s driving traffic, what’s falling flat. Use data to refine the content strategy.
  • Use AI extensively to accelerate production. Draft scripts with Claude, generate social copy, repurpose content, and automate repetitive production tasks. You should be looking for ways to produce more content in less time without sacrificing quality.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management in a B2B SaaS environment, with video production or content marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong video editing skills. You can take raw footage and turn it into a polished 60-second clip that stops someone mid-scroll.
  • Excellent writing skills. You can write a tight video script, a compelling LinkedIn post, and a punchy caption with equal confidence.
  • An eye for what works on social. You understand the difference between content that gets likes and content that gets clicks, and you know which one matters more for a B2B company.
  • Comfort with AI tools. You use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools daily to draft, edit, and produce content faster. You see AI as your production partner.
  • Organized and self-directed. You’ll be managing a content calendar, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and producing a high volume of content. You need to keep all of it moving without dropping things.
  • Comfort working with on-screen talent who aren’t professional presenters. Product managers, engineers, and sales leaders are going to be in your videos. You need to make them look and sound great even when they’re nervous or new to being on-screen.

What Sets You Apart

  • You’ve managed social and video for a B2B SaaS company and can show a portfolio of work.
  • You’ve built a content repurposing system that turns one piece of long-form content into multiple short-form assets.
  • You’ve worked with non-professional on-screen talent and know how to coach them through a recording session.
  • You have experience with financial services, wealth management, or adjacent regulated industries.
  • You think about social media as a distribution channel for substance, not a vanity metrics game.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health coverage
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
