We’re a market leader, but we still operate like a nimble company. We’ve been doing this long enough to know what works, but we’re small enough that every engineer’s decisions matter.
We’re a high-trust team of experienced Rails engineers who’ve been working in the framework since its early days. You’ll work directly with them, learning how we build and ship software.
We work prompt-first. We use AI tools to prototype faster, generate tests, and increase velocity. But everything goes through human review—we don’t ship code we haven’t read and understood. You’ll learn how to use these tools effectively while building real features that customers use every day.
You’ll work across the stack—Ruby on Rails, React, databases, whatever the feature needs. You don’t need to be an expert in everything yet, but you should be comfortable learning and contributing across both backend and frontend.
A typical day might include building an enhancement that saves customers hours per week, improving user experience, pairing with other engineers to solve problems, or helping debug and fix issues in production.
