After you submit your migration request, a Wealthbox specialist will have a planning call with you to review your current CRM data. We’ll ask you about specific data you want transferred including contacts, permissions, notes, tasks, events, opportunities, financial accounts, projects, etc. We’ll make helpful recommendations on how to easily clean up your CRM data.
Once you’ve prepared your data file based on our recommendations in the planning call, we’ll review it with you to ensure it maps properly in Wealthbox. We can talk on the phone and do a screen-share to ensure your data is complete and correct. If all looks good, we’ll schedule your migration for a specific date.

Which CRM systems are able to migrate data to Wealthbox?
All of them! Wealthbox imports data from all CRMs, including Salesforce, Redtail, Junxure, Microsoft Dynamics, ACT!, Advisor's Assistant, and many more. Your data simply needs to be placed in CSV, Excel, SQL or similar database-formatted files and it can be imported into Wealthbox. And we can help in the Step 1 planning call!
Will you import all of my contact data?
Yes, as long as your contacts are within a backup file from your previous CRM system.
How much does migrating cost? Is it really free?
Yes! For retail customers of Wealthbox - typical advisory firms - data migration is totally free. (For large enterprise organizations with complex data requirements, Wealthbox may have an additional one-time migration & onboarding fee.)

Is there anything you are not able to migrate?
Wealthbox currently does not support file storage migration, recurring activities, or workflow template migration. You or someone on your team would need to manually do this, and we can give you guidance on how to do this in the Step 1 planning call.
What’s GIGO and how do I prevent it?
GIGO stands for “garbage in, garbage out” and you don’t want garbage in Wealthbox! With our recommendation in the Step 1 planning call, you can prevent GIGO by easily “scrubbing” your data to eliminate duplicate records and remove unnecessary data. This helps speed up your switch to Wealthbox as well as allowing you to use its full functionality with good data hygiene.
How long will my data migration take?
Anywhere from a few days to two weeks is typical, depending on your CRM data transfer requirements. Because Wealthbox has secure systems for data transfer, technically it’s a lightning quick process. Time is required for scheduling the Step 1 planning call and cleaning up your data. Once we confirm a scheduled date for your migration (Step 3) our team will import your data within 1-3 days.
