Wealthbox Brings Nitrogen’s Risk Numbers and Portfolio Data Into Wealthbox AI Assistant
October 27, 2026 · 4 min read

Wealthbox is excited to introduce an enhanced integration with Nitrogen, the AI-powered risk, proposal, and planning platform for financial advisors. Building on the two companies’ existing integration, it brings the full capabilities of Nitrogen into the Wealthbox AI Assistant. Advisors can now put Nitrogen to work in plain language, from checking a Risk Number® to sending a Check-in or building a Retirement Map, without leaving Wealthbox.
This is Nitrogen’s deepest CRM integration to date, making the Wealthbox AI Assistant a working interface to Nitrogen, not just a window into it.

Bringing Risk and Portfolio Insights Into Everyday Workflows

Understanding a client’s risk tolerance and how it aligns with their portfolio is an important part of delivering personalized financial advice. With Nitrogen connected to the Wealthbox AI Assistant, advisors can bring that information into their existing CRM workflows.
Rather than navigating between systems to find client risk scores, review portfolio information, or check on outstanding questionnaires, advisors can simply ask the AI Assistant.
For example, advisors can ask:
- “What is the current Risk Number for the Johnson household?”
- “Do I have any clients without a Risk Number?”
- “Has the Smith household completed their risk questionnaire?”
- “What is the Risk Number for my Growth Portfolio model?”
The AI Assistant retrieves the relevant information from Nitrogen, making it easier for advisors to identify potential planning opportunities and prepare for more informed client discussions.
Do the Work in Nitrogen, From Wealthbox

The integration supports a range of client management, portfolio analysis, and planning activities directly from the Wealthbox AI Assistant.
Take Action in Nitrogen. Advisors can create and update clients, send risk questionnaires, build Retirement Maps, create portfolios from models, and more.
Client and Portfolio Information. Advisors can search for clients by name or email, retrieve client records, and access portfolio and model information in Nitrogen.
Risk Analysis and Alignment. Advisors can explore client Risk Numbers, compare a portfolio’s Risk Number with the client’s, and identify potential areas of misalignment that may warrant further discussion.
Retirement Planning Insights. Through Nucleus™, Nitrogen’s agentic AI engine, advisors can ask questions about Retirement Maps, explore planning scenarios, and review factors that may influence a client’s retirement outlook.
Client Check-ins and Follow-ups. Advisors can send quick Check-ins by email to help identify clients who could benefit from a timely conversation.
Better Prepared for Every Client Conversation

The Nitrogen integration offers advisors a practical way to bring risk and portfolio information into meeting preparation and ongoing client management.
Before a review meeting, an advisor can ask the AI Assistant to prepare a risk brief that brings together available client information from Nitrogen, including Risk Numbers, portfolio details, and questionnaire status.
For example:
“Create a pre-meeting risk brief for the Johnson household, including their current Risk Number, their portfolio’s Risk Number, and any prepared proposals.”
Advisors can also ask broader questions across their book of business, such as which clients have the largest gap in risk alignment, or which clients don’t have a Risk Number yet.
These capabilities help advisors spend less time gathering information and more time focusing on client needs and next steps.
How to Enable the Nitrogen AI Integration

To get started, advisors can enable the Nitrogen AI Integration in Wealthbox Integration Settings and authorize access to their Nitrogen account.
Once connected, the Wealthbox AI Assistant accesses Nitrogen data based on the permissions authorized by the advisor, ensuring that only information available to their Nitrogen account can be retrieved.
As with any AI-generated content, advisors should review information and outputs before using them in client recommendations or communications. The Wealthbox AI Assistant works within Nitrogen to support advisor judgment and does not provide investment recommendations.
With Nitrogen connected, advisors can bring insights from Nitrogen into Wealthbox, supporting more informed conversations and a more connected client experience.
